Carbon footprint
We make certified calculations of the carbon footprint of the company or products (product) based on and in accordance with the standards STN EN ISO 14067, STN EN 14064:1, STN EN 14064:3 and the GHG protocol.
Carbon footprint of the product
The product's carbon footprint includes greenhouse gas emissions that occur during the life cycle of the product / product - from the extraction of raw materials necessary for its production, through the consumption of materials, raw materials and energy to the disposal of waste that arises from the product itself. The product's carbon footprint is also part of the product's life cycle assessment (Life-Cycle Assessment = LCA).
Carbon footprint of the company
The company's carbon footprint is a measure of the impact of the company's (organization's) functioning on the environment. It is an indirect indicator of energy consumption, manufactured products and provided services. The value of the carbon footprint corresponds to all the company's activities.
The carbon footprint can also be determined at different levels - global, national, local, city or individual.
Life Cycle Analysis (LCA)
LCA is an analytical method of evaluating possible environmental impacts (not only CO₂e emissions) associated with the life cycle of a certain product or process, technology or service.
As a rule, LCA takes into account the entire life cycle of the product, from extraction and acquisition of raw materials entering production, through the costs of resources consumed in technology, to distribution, use of the product itself and subsequent disposal, or the recycling of waste arising after the use of the evaluated product to the evaluation of the environmental benefits of the given product.
Assessing the life cycle of a product is important when defining options for improving the state of the environment, production processes and sources of raw materials, generated waste in the entire supply-customer value chain.
Sustainability and ESG
We also provide consultancy in the area of sustainability (the relationship between the individual activities of the company and the environment) and ESG (a framework of criteria on the basis of which the company evaluates its own risks and its performance in the field of environmental protection, in the social field and in the creation of its own policies). We help you find and establish the optimal ESG criteria for your type of business, we can then monitor and evaluate them, we prepare ESG reports.
